Sisters Heather, Dominique, and Claudette have been singing as a group since 2001 when they released their very first album entitled “You’re Worthy Lord”. Back then, their group’s name was just “Joy”, a name that fit their bubbly personalities perfectly. Joy travelled nationally and internationally ministering and promoting ‘You’re Worthy Lord’ for two years before they returned to the studio to record their sophomore album, “Only U.”
“Only U” showcased the sisters’ songwriting and vocal arrangement skills and inspired the creation of a new name for the group, “jHoy”. Things only got busier for the ladies as they began the promotion of “Only U”. This album opened the door for them to perform on The Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors on TV One where they were privileged to meet and share the stage with Smokie Norful, Trinity 5:7, 21:03 and J. Moss. They have also opened for popular gospel artists like Vicki Winans, Papa San, and many more. jHoy was ready to start their promising career in the Gospel music arena, but God had other plans.
In 2011, the sisters began attending Mishkan David Messianic Congregation in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The truth of the Word of God changed their musical sound and, once again, their name. jHoy became “3b4jHoy”, which represents the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit going before jHoy. In 2012, 3b4jHoy debuted their new Messianic musical sound at AMF in North Carolina. Ever since then, they have been ministering at various events, sharing the truth of Messiah Yeshua.
Currently, the sisters are the praise and worship leaders of Just Life Messianic Ministries and also members of the praise team at Mishkan David Messianic Congregation.
